    great just getting out for a ride, with my new job, only get Sunday guaranteed, I had a sick day Friday to go down to Adelaide for a Doctors appointment, left at 08:30 and back at 19:00, down and back around 850K's great ride

    Yeah all good here mate, Blew the engine on the Anniversary CVO a couple of weeks ago a lifter shit itself and destroyed the whole engine taking out the case with it, just looking at a 20k repair bill.

    Yeah mate still gote CVO Ultra although a bit worse for wear at the moment.

    Bugger! Sorry to hear mate that’s shithouse. Without warranty the best outcome would be some idiot stealing it.

    Glad it didn’t wreck your trip entirely and lucky your Mrs is such a good sport. 

    I remember that mitta mitta road as being the longest, twistiest road I’d ever ridden. Id just had a heavier clutch spring installed when I rode it and my clutch hand was rooted after riding that road. Shame my strongest hand is the other one haha. 

    You still see Chinashopbull and any of the others?

    Hey Mickle, sorry to hear about the donk, bloody lifters are maintenance items in the 110's, about to change mine again, if it ever grenades I'll buy a new S&S engine for it.

    Agree hilly re your lifters comment and the 110/117 twin cam engine. But I think mick’s 117ci engine is a 2018 cvo m8 and haven’t heard of many (catastrophic) lifter failures with those engines. An absolute bitter pill to swallow. Knowing mickle, he’ll no doubt find a silver lining out of this somehow
