    Is that a tentative yes?

    Quoting FBUser214 on 21 Jan 2022 06:19 AM

Most would see it as a yes. Like I said, your comprehension is woefully inadequate.

Quoting paulybronco on 21 Jan 2022 06:27 AM

Wasn't that hard to admit, even after a small temper tanty was it?

Your mother must have dropped you on your head when you were a baby.

And now the deflection from making a tiny error comes in the form of attempting to defame that person..

I don’t think I was dropped on my head. I never knew my mother. I was left in a basket outside a bakery.

Jay Dee, we cool man, yes I took a swipe, won't make excuses there, will endeavour to do better.

Hey I just read that somebody close to the whole deal claims tennis Australia paid for Novak's legal costs, the big deal here is the authority is funded by the tax payer, if it's true it should be entertaining to watch this unfold, the untouchables getting touched :)

Thanks Hilly but there's nothing to endeavour to do better for.

    Hey PB,

Just regarding my suspicions about the vaccines making people vulnerable to catching the virus I mentioned earlier in the thread. Some very highly qualified people have a say on it here starting at around 3hrs 59 minutes with brief mentions at other points. This conference was held yesterday and if you have the time and the interest it's well worth watching the whole thing, it actually starts around 40 minutes in but it is still very long.

Also please note for full disclosure that most people in this are regarded by the mainstream as peddlers of misinformation and/or likely anti-vaxxers, make up your own mind. I wouldn't have a clue but it's interesting viewing nonetheless.

You really, really need to read my posts again.

I know full well they don't stop you getting or passing on the virus and any reference that I have made to it has made that abundantly clear, either seriously or sarcastically.

Quoting Grease Monkey on 17 Jan 2022 05:30 AM

Professor Catherine Bennet would disagree with your assessment of the vaccines ability to reduce transmission and infection Jay Dee, especially if you have the booster as it fortifies the original, people I find believe whatever the fuck fits their narrative, I try to keep an open mind and listen to those in the field relative to the subject not some random on the internet, no disrespect intended.

My wife is an ICU nurse and now a NUM, the amount of twisted misinformation she has to deal with each day beggars belief.
Novak should never have been granted a visa in the first place, he knows it, the government knows it and so does tennis Australia, they all hide behind narrative...... that'll do me.

    Quoting Jay-Dee on 17 Jan 2022 07:07 AM

As you know I always appreciate and respect your input Hilly, certainly no disrespect taken but what's a NUM?

I've listened to Dr Catherine Bennet (if she's the one with glasses that's always on the ABC) and I reckon she'd have have everyone living in a plastic bubble if she could, it's actually very scary to listening to her about this. Dr Gerrard, the new Queensland CHO is fantastic, really a breath of fresh air and I try to catch him every day. I'd love to be able to talk privately with him and ask him some questions.

I try to be like you and hear all sides and it goes back to my previous post, trying to find real balance is very hard and I'm sorry, but I just don't trust the politicians or media. There's too much big pharma money and power involved for me to be fully comfortable with that, feel free to call me a tin foil hat wearer if you like.

And for the record, four people that I work with have recently caught Covid. Two I know are boosted, one is only double and the other is at least double, I don't know if he's boosted but I suspect not.

Sorry to quote myself and look like a wanker (topical at the moment), but a quick correction for Hilly.

Although familiar with Professor Catherine Bennet (also wears glasses and appears on the ABC) I had her mixed up with Professor Mary-Louise McLaws who is the one I reckon would have each of us in a plastic bubble and is scary to listen to, apologies for that.

Ms Mclaws was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour so guessing we wont see a great deal of her from here on. Big battle on her hands.

    Perhaps....

I wouldn't be surprised if he has found a doctor that will write up that he's be given the jab on paper. Bet there's a few doctors around the world that would do that for a nice little cash incentive on the quiet. Certainly wouldn't bet my house on him being totally honest and having a change of heart.

Agree, He will just buy one and remain a high risk to himself.  So fingers crossed if he is lying then things will come around and nail him.  He's just an egomaniac surrounded by a family of really f'd up people..
