I dunno about the DNA wheels but their springers are absolute rubbish.

Search around about wheels, give the guys at Rollies a call, there are a lot of of really shitty Chinese junk wheels at the moment and they are known to break spokes, lots of stories of guys emergency braking and the spokes snapping.

    Tread really carefully.

Thank you guys for your reply.

I’m looking to upgrade my front to 26” and rear 18” but I just wanted to know the quality of both rim brands.

    I’m new to the scene

    Hi Chinchecker1
If you are new to the scene what makes you think a front wheel that is 10 inches larger in diameter is an upgrade?.

No one’s asking if it’s an upgrade, just asking about the quality of either brands.

I’m happy with my dna wheels but there is no way I would buy a dna Springer front end

Not trying to be a smart arse but I’ve never understood the want for a massive front wheel. What’s the point of it? If it’s for looks I reckon a pair of clown shoes would look better and you’d save some $

Agree FB. Only maybe good for an unregistered show bike (hidden, not ridden).
Ha, clown shoes! 🤡 Surely nobody would accuse you of being a smart-arse for that comment.

Haha WG, maybe I need to work on my subtlety.

I don’t even like those massive front wheels on show bikes. Each to their own I suppose.

Yeah I don’t think I’d fit close shoes tbh, but your right each to their own at the end of the day. Was more asking about the quality of brands

A few here have had DNA wheels without issues. The Australian dealer for attitude wheels has been a reputable Harley parts distributor (vpw) in Melbourne for a long time with a bricks and mortar store. I’ve bought stuff from vpw before and service was good

It’s the tribal tattoo of 2020..

Notice I say 2020, it was a trend in the US but seems to just be hitting here.

If you’re in melb I’d suggest Bikecraft in Mordialloc, they do a hell of a lot of the big wheel things to the point of machining their own mag wheels in all sorts of sizes.

But they do know their stuff, it’s not usually as easy as just bolting one a bigger wheel.

Gidday .. have a look at .. Ride Wright Wheels .. you can get them either direct from USA or through Rollies in Brisbane , Qld .

Not as cheap as DNA or Attitude but from most reports they are a Far better piece of gear .. Good Luck .
