    Anybody know how much 128 kph in a 110 zone is worth? ( NSW)

    Thanks for trying number 260 but that link is a bit hard to read.
    I knew I was fucked as soon as I got off the bike and a bloke that was the spitting image of Steven Hawking  got out of the cop car.
    That is my first ticket in a few years so I wont whinge too much.

    OK beagle. I hope you weren't in a school zone because the penalty is increased.
    Otherwise you would be Class A ( typically motor vehicles and motorcycles) and Rule 20 would apply.
    18k over the limit gets you $285.00 and 3 points. ( Fine level 4A)

    You didn't say what kind of bike you were riding. There is another category for SMALL MOTORCYCLE SPECIAL SPEED LIMIT  :)

    And it sticks with you for 3 years and 4 fuckin months. I'm just back to being a clean skin this month after the same offence 3.4 years ago.
    Wait until rego and green slip time and do a online quote for insurance and note the points and no points. Green slip was to be $400 dearer for points compared to no points.

    Beagle,  if you have not had another in previous 10 years,  send off a letter / email to see if they waiver it.  I had one waivered about 10 years ago in nsw,  they then send you a letter, so you can legally say you have had No fines  ( for insurance reasons)  Its up to their decrection.

    Bad luck bb. Did they just say you would be reported or simply give you an on the spot fine. 
    In SA the police are good enough to tell you on the infringement notice how much it’s going to cost and how many demerits.

    I am sure if I had asked he would have taken great pleasure in telling me what it was going to cost but he was a snivelling little cunt and I couldn't be bothered talking to him. I might try what Steamer suggested but I won't be holding my breath. 
    It's my first ticket in at least 7 years but he didn't actually write out a ticket. He just said it would be sent to my address. That's why I didn't want to give the snivelling little cunt the satisfaction.

    When I was booked, he didn't tell me what is was going to cost or the points. Just said a ticket will be in the mail. Yep, fuckin thing turned up 6 weeks later. I understand HWP don't issue tickets direct now. Also, back in the past they might have issued a ticket for a lower speed, but these days it is all recorded once they activate the lights so those days are gone.

    If HWP pull you over, you’re likely to get a ticket, no ifs or buts. Shit getting tickets but if you only get one every year or two or three, you’re going ok I reckon. The occasional cost of having a good time

    Just got the Vic roads letter, once again, stating you lost 3 points here, here and here then 1 point here and here. And furthermore you have one point left with your first offence coming up in march 2022. If I loose 1 point before March they get my licence for three months, barsteads.. So ride/drive like granny or go like a bat outta hell and wave as I disappear into the distance.. Whoa , was just dreaming I was 16 again, not 66. Ride like I'm on a bantam...slinking down the road, the barsteads...
