The Ross motorcycle show has been cancelled the last 2 years due to the plague.
This year it was back on but shifted down the highway to Oatlands, so it really was the Oatlands bike show on today.
Also it seemed to be the the first nice day after 40 days and nights of constant rain. So it was a good turn out.
As usual it was astounding to see so how many interesting old bikes there are out there.
Really pissed off at myself for not taking a decent camera, so please excuse the dreadful Iphone pictures of a few of the bikes that caught my eye.
Evo/panhead?,rattus ratus.
U-model
Another U-model
1959 Bonneville
1930something BMW
A Dot, WETF that is? it won a prize.
AJS. another prize winner.
AJS
Suzuki GT550, prize winner
Knucklehead, shoulda won a prize. You don't see many of them.
Another shot of the 1930something BMW. You can really see how the driveshaft set up has influenced the new dog ugly BMW 1800cc. I mean the driveshaft set up looks cool. They just put too much of the "Helga uglyness" into the rest of the newer version. Especially those fat ankled exhaust pipes. IMHO.

Thanks for sharing the pics FC.
Always great to see a Knuckle.
Love the handlebars on the Indian!
Agree, the '30's BMW shaft-drive machine was a thing of beauty.

Ha!, yeah those Indian handlebars look like they belong on a wheelbarrow!. Funny how things go over the years.
