Evo S&S specialist

    hi all I'm after a tech that knows their way around an S&S in Qld

    Where in qld are you?

    The reality is any decent shop with staff 50yo+ should know evos inside and out. And they’re simple and easy to learn and work on anyway whether s&s, harley or other

    I'm in Hervey bay 
    I know most of the good old boys are out of the game now that spent the time on the evos. it runs great just needs a light tweek and my slight tweek could end up needing a bid adjustment

    Sorry mate I don’t know that part of Australia or what shops are around. Hopefully somebody will. 

    Alpha Performance Engines in Gladstone might know and even work on Evos and if they don’t, they’d steer you in the right direction. I’ve had contact with Ben at Alpha and he’s a good bloke, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. They’re busy enough that they don’t chase work and would give good advice to help a brother out.

    Stuart, go chat with Mark or his wife Sam at FullBoar motorcycles Boat Harbour dr, Near new servo at golf course end. 0741284300, if he dont, then he might know someone.

    i tried mark at full bore but he said no he does not tune or work on evos unfortunately only 88s and up

    Get in touch with Taverners Motorsports in Brisbane on (07) 31485288.  They recently put a new S&S 80" into my Heritage.  Good guys with lots of knowledge.

    Get in touch with Taverners in Brisbane on (07) 31485288.  They do Shovelheads up and just recently put a new S&S 80" into my Heritage.  Good guys with lots of knowledge.

    Unfortunately when I owned my Evo Mark from Fullbore wouldn't work on it he put a set of tryes on that I bought there but that was it. Btw nothing against Fullbore he did a great custom tune on my 08 Heritage and Mark will probably do more work on my bike when needed.

    A mate from Sunnycoast was up here on weekend, i asked about Farrows as he knows him well. Said deff good to deal with and on Evo's.   Just further to drop bike off

    Brian is a really good guy and a very good mechanic. Did his time with Sunshine Coast Harley then a stint in USA.

    Just told me getting to hard to find parts and taking up to much time trying to find the right parts. Don't get me wrong Mark does good work and has been in Hervey Bay for many years but I think like most mechanical shops these days they enjoy the convenience of plug and play computers to find any faults.

    Thanks for all the help guys it is very apricated 

    I have dropped her off to Keith at Fatridz 0430733063 just north of Gympie only 90 odd minutes from my place so very handy

    He had custom choppers of all sorts there and all shovels irons and knuckles i was very impressed ( i left drooling)

    only works on bikes 99 and older,  my kind of guy

    Got her back yesterday and have just taken her for a lap.

    Very impressed running like a dream great price and a genuinely nice guy as well as knowledgeable and a true enthusiast.

    I defiantly recommend Keith if you want work done on anything evo or older
