I got done for noise on my Ultraglide classic 2006 which had a  roadworthy not long ago and passed even with after market mufflers on it. Now I have to spend $140 to have it tested.?? So I thought 94db was legal but apparently not????
So what can I do or put on my bike so I don't fail.??  if it has to be 80db how is it roadworthy???

If you need to get it EPA tested put stock mufflers on.
You can load them with steel wool but you need to make sure it can't blow out during the test.
I bought a set for mine off gumtree for $50. They are same right through(mine is an 02 and used mufflers off a '13.)

A lot of stuff has changed in vic with all this, most rwc guys only want to see the ADR stamps on the mufflers.
I was looking at a couple of shovels earlier this year, when I spoke to all the rwc guys they all refused unless I had ADR stamped mufflers (even though there was no adr standard stamps like that pre 89), I gave up in the end, the whole system in vic is totally broken.

Why do you guys still live in that place....they tell me that Foxtel show your backward tall skinny boy sport on some back channel if that's the only reason. We have mobile certifiers for roadworthy slips come to your home, basic checks not even have to start the bike!
