Well had the 5 bolts that hold rear sprocket on snap on me bout 500mtrs from home..drilled all studs out & replaced with 5 new bolts. Put wheel back on..take for ride..no back brakes working. Back in shed..bleed from Performance Machine M/cylinder back to Jaybrake caliper..no pressure of brakes..bleed/syringe from caliper back to M/cylinder .. little pressure bulid up nowhere near enough.
Pull caliper off and inspect pistons..remove pistons check seals..all ok. Pull M/cylinder off and inspect.. replace with new seals ( only cos I split a seal on assembly.)
Assemble all.. bleed/syringe from back to front- still no pressure..bleed front to back - still no pressure. Pulled wheel and put back on - spaces in correct order. Only thing else I can think of is ..I may have pinched brake line when jacking bike up ..but no indication of damage to the brake line. I give up from totally stumped. Any advice or ideas greatly appreciated in advance 😎

I take it you mean the Rear brake Rotor ??  Not the rear sprocket with the rubber isolator behind ...
Model, year of bike would be helpful ...
If it was the rear brake rotor, snapping the 5 bolts, (at the same time), that was a dam good trick....

I'd like to know how/why, the 5 bolts snapped etc ....God knows what damage a completely loose rotor would do to a caliper,,pads, and the caliper internals, even after a short ride !!!
You say you have checked everything etc ,,, and all seems normal with no leaks.....

I'd check everything again ,,, but I think you will be in the market for a new rear caliper at the very least .....

and, if you syringed from back to front, there is no pinch in the line, probely focus on the master cylinder if it aint pushing fluid back,

does the caliper move freely either off the pedal or on the bench

a stupid thought, is your brake line not damaged and "ballooning" when pushing the pedal?

yet reading again, if the disc come loose and the problem has to be in the caliper?

what would I know, I would have had it to the mechanics, Good luck

I have never been able to drill out a busted stud. Let alone 5 of them.

Calling me a dumb cunt ?

You should hear him when he’s not being friendly and diplomatic.
Were you being too hard on the bike? I’ve never heard of that happening.

They the original bolts or has someone fitted some nice chromed ones made of mild steel?
As to the brakes if fluid is staying in there and no pressure is building it will most likely be the master cylinder like soapy said.

Reckon you might be on the money GM.
Changed a lotta my Harley fittings to S/S over the years ( benifits from working offshore) and found metal hard as fuck, compared to even original metal bolts/studs.

Just fitted new Performance Machine M/cylinder rebuild kit. Still no pressure than before.
Jus can’t figure out .. before this happened brakes were 100% fine. Time to take it to HD mechanics .. let them sort it. I’m completely stumped. Thanks for the suggestions will get back with the result. 👍

I had to really pump and pump and pump on the roadking to get all the air out of the master cylinder after replacing fluid. It wont produce pressure until you get all the air out.  I found it was difficult to get it going.
