Hi folks. I just bought my first bike: Street 500. All very new to me. It's a 2020 model with about 10000kms on it. Just cleaning and tightening a few things. Look forward to getting licenced and riding. Happy to get any advice, guidance, workshop manuals (please), and be a part of the Harley family. Thanks.

2020 model Street 500 with 10000k's. Previous owner must have gotten a good run with it. Welcome to the forum. Just keep up the service schedule according to HD's recommendations and you can't go wrong. While you are new to the brand, I'd have a dealer or Indy do it for you. It'll be a long time between drinks (ie the cost is shared over time) and they will make sure everything is AOK. Many threads on rider safety, riding tips, and nice to have's. Google and Youtube will be your companions. Any rider course you take for your licence is going to worth its cost. Post some pictures.

Encouraging words Steelo. Yes, the bike has seen many a long ride. Will upload some pics. And I agree, only Sy's or an Indy will be doing any mechanical work on my bike. I will limit myself to simple things like installing the sissy seat.

Thanks Pauly. Got caught in that Sydney storm, fortunately only for 3 minutes or so. Aside from that, definitely looking forward to enjoying the open road.
