What are the Ugly Fish glasses with the foam seal like leachy?  Any chance of a pic?

I have tried a few pairs of " sealed "  safety glasses and they were fukin rubbish.
They nearly blew my eyeballs out  of my head.
I was gonna have a go at steelo with his "  Any cheap and nasty sunglasses will be fine " reply  but I held my tongue but not tonight !
If you want to get rid of the GLARE  cheap sunnies dont do it. Doesnt matter how dark they are .
POLARIZED  sunnies , cheap or expensive REDUCE THE FUKIN GLARE.
It is all connected to Albert Einsteins theory of relativity.

BB, go into a decent workwear store and the big ones usually have quite a range of safety glasses that you can try on. Some work for me and some don’t. I got Bolle brand safety glasses that fit perfectly and don’t let any wind in to my eyes. About $12-15 a pair from memory so I bought a few black pairs and a few clear pairs (they didn’t have the low light yellow/orange type in the bolle glasses that fit me). Those pairs will last me years. I don’t think they’re polarised but they do the job nicely and it’s very rare that I’m troubled by glare.

yes i got issued Bolle saftey sunglasses in NW WA back in the 90's that i still use today coz theyr damn near indestructable...fit close, so ideal for the bike...adjustable length / tilt arms...bonza

I use Ugly Fisk as well.  Those are my next pair Im getting for this seasons riding.  I also have a pair or original glass Raybans with G15 green lens that I wear when I cruising sometimes - lets more wind through though but look fing cool.

Yeah I forgot about the adjustable angle arms too. Another good feature about the bolle brand safety glasses. And they’re tough as and don’t make you look like an idiot

Gidday guys .. don`t mean to hijack the thread .. but .. along with which glasses are good against glare , what about which glasses have the best scratch resistance .

I noticed that the Ugly Fish say they have a Scratch resistance surface but was wondering what everyone on here thought .. i find that scratches are worse for riding than glare .

Currently using a set of the Expensive Harley brand sunnies , supposedly polarized .. No better than the cheap ones .. i use a micro fiber towel to clean them when at home before going for a ride .. but am guilty of using the old Hankie and bit of water when out on a ride .. and no i don`t use the dirty section of Hankie , Lol .

I have a set of Oakleys I wear which fit nice and tight.
I have dropped them, dropped a nailgun on top of them, left them on the roof of my car and drove off then went back and picked them up off the road, put the arms back in, clipped the lenses back in and they remain faultless. I always used to buy the 'servo sunnies' or the cheapies off ebay, but knowing what I know now, quality sunnies ARE worth the money.

I took one of these Biro holders and cable tied it to handlebars on the bikes. Better than resting glasses on seat only to fall and scratch when installing helmet on head!

    Nice solution.
Although our younger members will be asking  "WTF is a Biro?"

the steering lock on the older bikes is ideal for hanging your glasses as long as you remove them before you staighten the wheel
