Anyone in SA up for a ride this Sunday? The weather is looking good so was thinking a run from Adelaide on the freeway to Tailem Bend and down to Meningie then around Lake Albert. Home via the Wellington ferry through the hills.

Let me know if you are interested and we will work it out.

    Cheers

Don't worry Steelo, I have seen how you get when we ride past a bakery. I think our record is something like 5 hours to go 127kms and three bakeries in that distance!

Will stop at bakeries in Tailem and Meningie for you. That is if you can last the 40kms between towns.

I'm in for Sunday Wade. Boony as well.
Come on eSAdians. Support a forum member who's organising a ride. I'll collect riders from the OTR at the cnr Portrush Rd and Glen Osmond Rd at a suitable time and we can meet Wade on the way.

I will be at the eastbound truck stop on the freeway just past the Mount Barker exit. If we leave from there at 10am this is a gentlemanly hour to be on the road.

    Cheers

Friends. Had an absolutely brilliant ride today courtesy WW. Went on roads and saw aspects of the Coorong and great lakes I have never seen before under perfect weather conditions.
I went to start up the BIL's Heritage this morning but the battery was toast so had to take the Ultra. I met WW and his wife on their beautiful Ultra with 2 of my mates (Triumph R3 and Yamaha 1200) and met another mate at Tailem bend (Africa Twin). As stated, brilliant ride. Saw the Coorong and had lunch on the lawn at Meningie after buying lunch at the Bakery. Went over 2 ferries and had a final cuppa at Strathalbyn before some scenic riding along the Bull Creek Road, down the freeway and home. 350km's.

Great ride, great weather, great company.

Wow, decent ride steelo and great pics.
Just had 3 weeks leave and spent the whole lot in lockdown so couldn't go anywhere on the bike.  Weather was shit anyway.
Out of lock down today and the sun is out and calm winds, perfect riding day and first day back at work. :-(
