    Hi
So i got bored and did the following to my ride

    Brake Master Cylinder
    - took it off and sandblasted it
    - repainted it with a new paint that has a etch primer in the can so its all in one applcation - works good i thought
    - gave it a coat of clear and looks great ( forgot to take a photo though)
    Floorboards
    - The factory coating is poor to the underside of the floorboard . I know its the underside and nobody sees the underside but it cost bugger all and is far better than a rusting underside to the floorboard
    - sandblasted the underside and repainted it like the master cylinder
    - came up well i thiought . Far better than the existing i thought
    Rocker Cover Bolts
    - the HD Rocker Cover Bolts are Zinc plated from factory
    - they look crap against chrome (real crap i say - see photo below)
    - Of course HD sell a "kit" for the Rocker Cover Bolts for $60-00. Only problem is the "kit" only has 4 bolts in it !!!. (WTF) So you need 3 kits to do the Rocker Cover bolts as you need 12 bolts = $180-00 . Thats just not on (The HD dealer at least told me this prior to ordeing than God)
    - sourced a kit from Colony and that was $31-00 . Put em on as shown below . I dont necessarily like the Allen Key type head when compared to the hexagonal style head on the original bolts but its growing on me .

What i was really after is the original bolt heads to be done in "Gold" . I cannot get any info on how to plate the bolt head from anywhere (Maybe the gold colour is a painted finish) . If anyone has any info on who can finish the bolt heads in "gold" that would be greatly appreciatted .
Ive seen motors / wheels etc done but cannot track down how its done  / who does this work .

    Cheers
