Just brought this from Western Australia to South Australia. Needs to go for number inspection. Bike has screaming eagle slash cut pipes with 80db stated on bottom. Are these legal Australian pipes? See photos
    Thanks.

My take on that it would be USA Federal law, soon know when you have the inspection done, nice looking combination.

Thanks but if i don't get a definite answer i will get stock mufflers. The point is to get it right first.

Congrats postie. Looks a terrific outfit. You’ll have a lot of fun out of that.
You can get a sound level app for the phone

    Thanks.
Like learning to ride all over again.
Just found design rule stating the 80db level so should be ok.

I would probably do a quick test - find an app on your phone like Steelo suggested. I would be surprised if screaming eagle pipes are 80 db? I have generally found screaming eagle to be louder than legal - but not too bad

It's stamped on the exhaust pipe complying with 80db.
It's only a numbers check not full inspection.
Can borrow stock pipes off a 2017 deluxe but hesitant to do so as a new takeoff. Scared of any scratches. 1 week to decide. Thanks.

if it was me, id turn up with the bike like an excited schoolkid and practically dare them to say something. if i was an inspector id probably spend the whole time oogling it.  you just don't see outfits looking that good.  good luck. sorry about the caps, holding the dog in one arm..

Originally wanted to pick up with trailer but western Australia have some serious communist style travel papers requirement are beond ridiculous.
For just another $1600 bikes only transport brought it over.
Fairly painless process. Took 2 1/2 weeks from country WA to Adelaide.
