    Looking seriously at a new Heritage Classic. Have a 2011 Softail deluxe. Anybody got one ? Opinions?

    Can’t comment more than to say they look great, and they must ride well as they are still very popular. Have you rode one yet?

    Took a test ride but not a fan of the engine nor comfort for my leggy frame but it felt more nimble than the Twin Cam.
    The odd thing I noted was that here we have a bike that’s more likely (than say a Breakout) to be ridden with various loads, say, one up then two up and then with or without luggage and rather than have the adjustment for the rear suspension exposed (as on the Breakout) they stuck it up under the seat ???

    Hope you get the advice you’re after, keep in mind that it’s your opinion that counts and that will be greatly influenced by what bike your coming off of.

    I like it.
    There are things on it that I don’t like.
    The cheap shitty plastic chrome on the guards and the plastic chrome on the front hub. First front tyre change it’s out. But that’s just my opinion.
    It’s comfortable, though not as good on the Hume Highway as my 08 Electra Glide. The suspension is better though.
    Fuel range is over 350 kms.
    I’m just under 6 foot tall and I think the screen needs to be a little bit taller.
    I just changed the rear tyre and got 13,000 kms out of it. I usually get a few thousand more from my EG.
    But yeah, I’m glad I got it.
    I can’t think of anything else to tell you about it.
    Ask me if you can think of anything more specific.
    The only add ons I have so far is a HD solo rack. Typical HD in that it is more about looks than functionality.
    I do think the bars are too tall for my liking. I might put the same ones on that are on my EG.

    Not overly impressed with the seat.
    Good for a few hundred kms and then my arse starts to complain. Not an fan of the studs all over it either. That’s just me.
    My mustang solo on my electra glide is much better. Even after being over 100,000 kms old it’s still a better seat for long distance.
    Just my opinions.
    Anything else.....ask me.👍

    Thanks for the info.Will let you know when I get it. Looks like Black. Other colours are pretty average.

    You were right about the seat. Got a Sundowner on now and great.
