6 pot front trike brake calipers

Gidday all .. i have a feeling i may have asked this question some time back but sadly the memory cells are failing me .. so apologies if i am rehashing an old inquiry .
Was curious if anyone had looked into the possibility of fitting the 6 pot front brake calipers off one of the new trikes onto a Roadglide .. am thinking of going the larger front rotors on my 17 RGS for that little bit of extra stopping power but saw the Trike calipers and thought i would ask here to see if anyone thought it would be a better way to go .
Thanks in advance .. Tim .

I’m sure a full brembo upgrade would be cheaper than trying to get a new wheel, rotors and pots from HD.
Gonna be honest. Be minimal times I’d want to “mash” the brakes on on the ug or be riding so hard and fast to warrant it so don’t know what sort of braking you after.

Guessing you've already done braided lines and pads?

Hi Guys .. John.R .. yeah mate already have Braided Lines and Lyndal Brake Pads .
Steelo .. don`t have to change wheels as i already have the 19 inch front .. sorry forgotten the name of wheel .. as for why someone would want extra stopping power .. well that`s a no brainer i would have thought .. our big touring Harley`s are a Very Heavy motorcycle and on top of that the poor old girl is not only trying to pull up the weight of the bike but also the Fat Bastard .. { 140 Kg`s } .. on top of her .. i don`t expect MotoGp quality but surly having better brakes is a good thing .
Don`t know about your brakes but Harley Brakes are Not that Flash .. mind you having come from a Jap Bike background i am used to a Higher Performing Brake especially on the front .. and it`s not like i have just jumped on a Harley straight from a Japper .. had a 76 Super Glide .. a 99 Softail Springer .. a 08 Softail Custom .. and of course the current 17 RGS .
The rears are a joke , absolutely useless .. have had them re bled and have changed pads and still Shit .
Anyhow thanks for the Feedback .. will keep researching .
As a weird side note after posting the original post i went looking for the 6 potters i thought were on the Trikes and can`t find them anywhere .. maybe i was seeing things or possibly have to lay off the Rum .. Nah .. Lol .

The trikes use (edit- used - different system now ), the 6 pistons independently as the rears are linked to the front .
Would take some creative plumbing to make them work.

Hey TJU,
Did you match the Lyndall Brake pads with their Composite rotors?

Hey TJU,

Speedzter .. thank God for you .. thought i was going nuts because i couldn`t find a pic of them anywhere .
Uncle Chougs .. No didn`t match the rotors , did look into them though and from memory they were quite expensive , but will double check that option .
Pauly Bronco .. i definitely found the Lyndall pads were slightly better than stock .. one of the owners at Gasoline put the 14 inch Arlen Ness rotors on his Roadglide and reckons there was a definite improvement .
Anyhow i will keep researching and see what works best .. Cheers .
