    I use that and also jeans boots & if its raining put plastic bags over feet as most boots leak water.

    Putting plastic bags on your feet will cause more problems than it will solve.
    Buying garbage bags to keep yourself dry isnt the best either.
    Dont ask me how I know these details.

    I personally will only use top quality garbage bags (no Aldi ones) to put over my boots - I think I deserve this luxury, I work hard for it.

    Agree Phoenix, quality gear and long lasting. Of recent times i have switched to a goretex hiking boot. May not have the same protection as a dedicated bike boot but allows you to walk very comfortably once you get to where your going. 110% waterproof

    I wear Keen hiking boots, have been in rain all day, dry feet, and probably the most comfortable boots I have owned.

     Good research there fatbat.  I was tempted to use the plastic bag on feet method but after old mates unfortunate experience I decided to practice in the house.  I forget which brand of plastic bags I was using but  I suspect they might have been  Aldi ones cos they were no  good. Your feet would slip inside the bag and then the bag would split. Fukin dangerous !
    I will tell you the story about buying a roll of garbage bags and wrapping  up my whole body  when I have more time.

    I've been rocking a Schampa WarmSkin Skinny Shirt during the winter months for about 10 years.

    Its a thermal base layer that feels more like a cross between a fleece top and a wetsuit.

    The monkey paws are grate for keeping your wrists extra warm too. I've ridden wearing this setup down to -4

    If I put the schampa on at work to ride home and don't leave immediately I'll be sweating in 5 minutes.

    You guys are over thinking things. All you need is a well designed umbrella and this one is only $4.35. 

    That and some good quality plastic bags tied around your boots (not Aldi ones) and you’re all set. 

    Save a heap of money and then you can buy a fancy looking jumper like this happy fella

    How about this bit of kit that enables you to smoke your favorite cigar or jazz cigarette while you ride your bike?
    At $200 US how could you go wrong.

    Nice work fc, putting your Christmas wish list together early will surely help your Mrs too. It was on ride with forum blokes that I discovered reefer thongs make a thong with a bottle opener built into the sole. Genius....

    Surely there are some other riding accessories that are in need but haven’t been invented yet. For instance, one of my pet hates about going on riding trips with mates is cooked breakfast syndrome (CBS). A cooked breakfast and coffee is usually the last thing we do before stands are up. Thirty minutes into the ride and im ready to shit myself. Don’t see that on MDB or SOA etc
