Good luck to them, there’s 4 other demo Livewires on Bikesales, $35k ride away, one’s only done 168 ks.

I’ve seen those livewire bikes discounted on bike sales for a little while now. It’s a big discount in terms of %. The fact they're still not selling despite the big discount is representative of how people really value them. Personally I wouldn’t spend $10,000 to buy one.

    $50k was a joke. $40k and $35k also still a joke.

I would buy one if they were a mile cheaper new, 10-15k, I live 3.5k's from work and anywhere here is about 10 minutes across town, I also have solar so fuel is cheap
treat it purely as a local commuter
there is absolutely no way I will pay the current ask price, even with the discounts

If granddad had pedals he would be a bicycle....news flash, he aint ever getting pedals and live wires aren't ever going to be 10-15k new.

Interesting loophole......Seems you can buy a livewire in either Qld or Vic as your learner or "LAMS" bike. Seems that the legislators who work out the capacity and power to weight ratio haven't got to doing it yet....as one smartie put it "Is this the silence of the LAMS"
