What's the best way to get this off?

    Yeah magnum, isopropanol could be good. I’m currently rebuilding some vintage speakers and yeah, the iso alcohol is dissolving the old adhesives well. 
    Adam should have a few places he could spot test.

    Prepsol (Wax and Grease Remover) is my go-to for this sort of stuff. About as strong as you can go without affecting the paint.

    Thanks ultra Pete,  I have some of this at home. Left over from respraying the old corolla.

    That was my first thought too and it’s intended purpose iirc
