Short pipes for Road King

Hi all, I have a 2010 Road King and I want to put some short pipes on it. I can't afford the V&H radius or shortshots (and am not even sure they make them for RK's) It currently has Screaming Eagle long pipes that are way too quiet and are secured at the back to the pannier racks, but I want to remove the racks and bags.

So basically, I'm asking for suggestions on a possibly less expensive solution or better still, if anyone has any pipes suitable up for sale?

Thanks for any feedback, be it hilarious or helpful.

Post some pics of the bike DC.
Having a tourer and a soft tail.
My opinion (and it's probably not shared by many here) is to keep the bike as quiet as possible and enjoy the functionality of the bags and touring ability.

Have you removed the end caps and pulled out the packing?

If its just noise you want purely for wank factor just find some drag pipes, Or you could try and get an exhaust fabricator to knock up a set of shorty pipes.

    Old post but just seeing.
Radiant Cycles sell shorty pipes.  Only negative from some buyers with tourers is that they are too loud.  Look around a bit some come with Baffles making them a bit quieter.

If you’re going to do back to back big klm days loud pipes are horrible. I run quiet baffles on my v&h pipes just for that reason.
