Has anyone run the CR575 in a 95" - 98" build?  Intake close of 35* would allow me to use a lower compression piston and keep ccp at around 195.

speak to wes at cyclerama or the lads at alpha performance in qld who use cyclerama cams a lot if your interested in using the 575 cr cam.that cam can be used with stock compression but likes compression to 10.2 also.

Thanks crowster, only just read your post and I did actually speak to Wes at cycle Rama and ended up with a new set of cr575s.

Not sure if I'll end up using them, but if I do I'm sure they'll go really well. 👍
    Cheers

So you changing your cam plate after all then?

I would also look at the Andrews tw54 or s&S 570. With 10.25 compression you should be in the sweet spot for both those cams which produce good power.

I may end up selling the CR575 cams on if you are interested. They are a good HP and TQ cam, but could do with a set of better flowing heads. I have a set of 96" heads with less than 10km on them  (taken off a bike before it even left the dealership 11 years ago.
If you do go with the SE cam plate I'm pretty sure you're limited too conversion cams only?

I reckon I'm going the 570 ez starts (but will double check how much it costs to do manual decomps just outta curiosity)

Im using the same heads, 96cu dealer takes off for a bloke that got a stage whatever kit before he picked it up.

Shouldn't be any issues with the SE plate and non conversion cams.

    Sounds like a good plan.

Does the SE cam plate and pump still allow you to use '99 - '06 Cams? Or do you need the '07 up cams?

Apparently you can use regular 99/06 cams, but may have to buy a couple of little bits. May work out the same price to just grab the fueling plate.

Yeah, I see a fueling OE+ plate and pump deal for around USD $400 + shipping. Probably work out the same.
