I do have a few guns and don't mind shooting them when the need arises.
However, gotta say I am pretty A O K with Aussie gun laws.
Saw this for sale online and am thankful we do not need to worry about such stuff here for fucksake.

I am also OK with our gun laws, to a point
I want to own what ever I like, we have over 200 people a year killed by car crash, we don't ban cars, and it is obviously why
to own a hand gun in Australia, I would have to be a member of a club and shoot (i think) at least 6 times a year, if I had criminal intent I would have the means to go out and commit what ever.
since the amnesty, I am down to 10 rifles, I did have to hand over 5 semi auto's because I could not be trusted with them, never had an issue with guns but deemed to be unwarranted to have them, even now with one rifle holding 17 rounds, the damage that can cause, I cant own a hand gun, the pod to carry one is nearly a portable safe with trigger locks, to carry a rifle, one only needs a bag and trigger lock,

I am not saying we should own Mach 15 and the like, yet us law abidding people should be allowed to have that choice, the only people that have them now are criminals, well how do they get them?

Bet you do not think of packing guns into your saddlebags when you go for a ride though Soapbox.
That was more the point, and I am glad most folk here do not feel like it is a must have item in the tool kit.

I would like to to carry a hand gun and have one near my bed
The older I get the less effective I am with a baseball bat
The shot gun has to be in a safe and if the bad man comes I got fuck all time to retrieve it
Maybe I can hold of one man but two or 3 I got nothing
A hand gun under the bed or in the saddle bag / glove box I am the boss

rarely, but if I had the choice, I believe Balaclava has a good Pistol club, and a ride there is good

Yeah but youve got to ride at a sensible speed.  If you go too fast it is easy to spill your beer. And the joint burns away too quickly.
