Just incase you weren't aware, there are two calipers that look nearly identical but are slightly different. The one you have pictured is a Dyna caliper, but the Softail/Vrod/Tourer ones can look very similar.

Yep im with you, it wont matter what one you get than if you're removing that whole part of the caliper.
