    Then how about lashing out for her on one of these exceptional looking machines!.
    Then she can go on the ride too and have a ripper bike.
    I have often wondered why Harley has not made a smaller sized tourer?
    Honda beat them to it in the 80's.
    Maybe they were a USA model only, can't say I have ever seen one but they look very cool.

    Nice looking bike for the period. Agree never saw one in Aussie.

    I had a mate who had a cx500 (same engine i think). That engine was indestructible - he absolutely flogged it. Took out out to Lakeside raceway in Qld for a couple of Saturday practice sessions and was overtaking people everywhere.

    yes, they were a crappy looking ride . but , well lets face it, a water cooled Hori V twin,.. wat a dam combination....
    Typical friggin Japanese,  convoluted every dam thing.
    The CX500 water buff were ma  good rig. Just not bit enough capacity to travel Australian miles.

    From memory they also released a CX650 in the 80's


    I think the CX500 Turbo was also available
