I’ve currently got a LePera Bare Bones solo on my XL1200C but I’m looking at upgrading to a Mustang Vintage solo standard. Does anyone know whether the Mustangs sit you a little higher & closer to the controls than the LePera’s?

They do sit you slightly higher than a bare bones but that extra height translates to more comfort.

I've found the diamond stitch variants to be more comfy than the smooth versions too.
