Mate brought around his new, well, 3,449 Km Royal Enfield to show me again.
Now this bloke is a mans man, still having his, Harley Davidson 1974 Bought new, in is shed, with more motorbikes current than I had roots over the last,.87*^%&^8
well you know where I'm going there.
OK . Grabbed the key like a Thai girl down Pat Pong street at midnight with no presenters..
Jumped on the Royal Enfield, (not the other beautiful girl) like a flash.
Just a quick grab of ma open helmet with googles a course, and shamed to say as quick exit my Teva sandels 100 years old.

What a blast, no, floorboards after, 2001 Moto Guzzi MAGNI SPORT, BUT.
try one was so much fun, had no idea where what hand controls where , did but was a fucken blast.
He has the Chrome tank, 650, Continental, buying has lady the RE Inter 650.
Pirelli Tires were great, the instruments couldn't look at as fucken googles kept falling down, and he already had cut and shut rear end painted, and front fork jazzed up.
Sorry computer is blinking not me this time...
Dont sell em or anything to do except rode, while my Mrs gave mate dip and beer... hang on you know what I mean..

Thanks so much Andy gave me a breathe for a while again..

    Hey Bloff.
Not sure where your post is coming from, BUT down at the local Mitre10 hardware shop today there was a Royal Enfield adventure bike parked out front with hard panniers and a rack to tie shit onto. It looked pretty darn good.

Yep I like there 650 Cafe racer something different to a cruiser for a change and under 10 grand on the road bloody good value. I have been tempted but not riding enough these days to justify buying a second bike.

Well, I love my RGlider and can burn me with , but looking at the Royal End. for 10 K. with 3 year warranty , and Harris frame brakes, ya know ABS, fuck I had a ball riding but felt like a 123 after HD heavy weiht, but I do not mean that in a bad way. Pirelli tires and great mate, for a half hour it showed me how far, my old 650 Triumphs, Yamaha XS1 and XS2 and TX have come. Pleasure to ride not a shovel, evo, or a Twin cam, nor new M8 .
But I want one next ta my Road Glider. soon. Just gotta work out what to sell , Mrs, Dog or guns...?

I've been considering a KLR650 as a 2nd bike (State Forests over 3 of my fences) but I am liking the look of the Himalayan....

Ultra , the R E 650's good but, Himalayan only has the looks, but make sure you get a good test ride before committing .

Well KK, it might be a "Slug" but that is ok, they are not marketing it as the next "Paris-Dakar must have".
If one wanted to just slug across outback roads at reasonable pace and did not fancy forking out the big bucks for the silly big BMW adventure things etc then maybe the bike could be ok.
The one I saw looked better than no bike at all.
Will try to get a picture next time I go to town.
