    If I am driving or riding I smash one down in between [proper] beers. Out here in the middle of nowhere can't afford to lose yer brief.

    Love a beer buzz in the morning, way too many years of nightshift mean I have no inclination to wait for the yard arm if the feeling hits me :)

    Southwark Old Stout for me, winter and summer, 7.4% but I will drink Carlton Zero on a stinker hot day if I’m on the tools.

    Been to parties, had to drive a long way home so didn’t drink, got a canning, “hey buddy what’s wrong with you, have a few drinks” etc.
    Next party, took a doz Heineken “0”, got a canning, folks said I was drinking too much. Can’t win.

    I only drink when the bikes parked , the guns are put away, and there are no wimmen who want my body.
    eeerm ok I admit that's not as often as it used to be.

    I did last year off the booze.  My daughter and I had a bet we could go a year not drinking, if you broke you had to pay money to the other person.  Being both tight arses we both did the year instead.  I tried the 0% alcohol beer but was not fussed on it, maybe just psychological, instead I drunk cheap mineral water.  It was fine.  Except everyone else must have thought of me as a filthy alcoholic, because all I heard all year was how well I was doing, how hard it must be, how I was nearly there.  Shit, it was easy compared to losing the bet and paying my daughter 5 grand.  That was never going to happen.

    Wonder what do you have to pay to indulge in this dry pleasure? On average what's this stuff cost per carton?

    Never bought more than a few at a time. A six pack is about 10.00. Alcohol or not, it tastes about 111%better than XXXX, and its a nice feeling cracking one on your lunch break in an office.

    Now due to extenuating circumstances, which are beyond control.. 
    Personally, given up fentanyl, cocaine and Hammer to concentrate on mid strength beer ...
    OHHH wat a saver.
    Now only kidding here as we nee d beer to revitalize as our dear and recently Island recluse PB would testify...
    Speaking of which get well and beat what ever this friggin cruel bloody world throws at us Digger...

    Where was I after going to fridge, beer is good, but am going on a 12 month dry. When, soon..So you will see some compus Mentus statements from Ski... Ohhh.

    Fuck mate reconsider, I mean it was ok being sober all the time, but it's not like I found God or rooted Elle MacPherson or anything like that.

    Great Northern brought one out recently, I picked up a single stubby while getting supplies at uncle Dan's and drank it while driving home, not a copper to be seen haha.

    I just did 100 days off the booze.  112 actually.  I thought I could moderate my drinking so had a few on day 113.  I slowly slipped back into my old ways unfortunately.  That was at the start of December.  I'm going to try and stop again soon.  Cant stand these hangovers and its not good for my life.

    Anyway, I drank a few alcohol free beers, and my favourite was Franziskaner.  Im living in Germany at the moment, and they have a huge range of alcohol free beer and this was easily the best to me... and luckily I noticed its available in Australia.  So Im happy.  Its really refreshing and as a bonus its an electrolyte.  Seems funny chugging down a beer after a hard days work and it actually benefiting you!!!

    Thanks for the tip Timmy.  I loved Germany, great beer, nice women. I was only looking your honour, I swear.  Interesting thing is it is easier to do abstinence than moderation, you are not alone there mate.

    Hey you guys, or, blokes, or, my learned friends.... Cut the crap.
    So good to connect to people who are were, will be, MC riders, that can talk and discuss stuff with out the 12 steps thingo. Of AA and NA and probably Bike Aye next.
     Seriously, lets, talk about being together, without sitting on each others lap to help one another..
    Love riding motorcycles, have  fucked up wit other shit, as we do, lets concentrate on motorcycles again. And and any one needs a yarn and beans between You and me, I'm here t'ween us to talk, write .
     For fuck sake in the early 70's took all labels off my clothes so no origin, of which country I had been in, I'm a no one but always talk ta peoples as ya human beings...
    So talk if ya wanna, discreet Mick..
    Anyway have had a large amount of alcohol, already..
    My Doctor of since 1994 told me recently, after Blood tests,   drink and Die, Michael........soon.
    I gotta catchup on all those Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Movies first, thank you very much.......
