Breakouts are popular here but not so much in North America obviously.

Hey Rick, I thought the breakout was the best looking harley, at least in the twin cam version.  It attracted interest on looks alone but must have ridden like a pig with it being so low, in a softail frame and with that big rear wheel. Also seemed to attract interest form the Arab crowd into the Vrod. I’ve always been a fan of fatboys for looks and off the back of the terminator 2 movie haha. The m8 fatboy has grown on me but I wouldn’t own either a breakout or a fatboy (again) unless it was my third bike and I was cashed up.

Our market is so small it doesn’t matter what sells here but used breakouts ought to hold their value alright here now they’re discontinued.

Fatbat they handle great if your not afraid to throw it into a corner and scrape a foot peg, primary case drain plug down to a stubb or even the frame.

You cant mention corner and breakout in the same sentence....

I test rode a Breakout from the dealer a couple of years back, the scraping on even the mildest corners was a joke, considering this woeful situation I couldn't believe the price they were selling this thing for!
The "fix" for the Breakout to give it at least some road clearance has been to fit longer legs - like the longer Wideglide forks.

They even scrape in a straight line....well nearly. And the new fatboys are a bit better but not by much

    You’re not far off Pauly.
Had my heart set on the new Fatboy, it too tried to kill me but it was friendlier than the Breakout 😡

The new fatty grinds pretty easy for sure, I took back less of it than I left with on a test ride, not intentionally either, didn't touch the heritage down over the same road, much friendlier.
