As a long time boxing fan/follower, the fact that these two blokes are the biggest headline in Aus boxing is a sad reflection of the fight game in Aus at the moment. Fred Brophys guys have got more cred in the sweet science.
Tim made short work of Morgan, I really thought Morgan would of done better, Gal out boxed Hunt, but man Hunt packs a punch! I enjoyed it, Don King was a friggin crook, fucked up heaps of good fighters, robbed many more.
Tim is a very talented boxer indeed. Enjoyed the slugfest between Gal and Hunt...could easily have been a draw, Hunt certainly rocked Gal more often.
There is probably more money in fighting the MMA guys.
I hear a rumor Gallen is calling out Whittaker now, why doesn't he fight boxers and not MMA fighters?
I agree , I don't think Hunt did proper preparation or Training before the fight, if he did proper training & was serious about the fight Gal would be on the canvas, but both landed some good hits!
Gallen would get cleaned up by a decent high profile boxer. MMA fighters have some good stand up fighting and boxing skills but they don’t commit their lives and all their training to boxing. So it’s easy to see that boxing an MMA fighter with a profile is a better choice than boxing a proper boxer with a profile.
