For those that want to educate themselves on the workings of the twin cam engines , and problems that may arise,  this is one of the better ones I have seen.... So get a beer and settle down for an hour or so ....there are a number of videos if you want to search his website....

Apart from obvious shit that prevents damage the odds are you will be trouble free, a good roadside assist on your insurance makes for worry free riding with these electrical nightmares :)
