    Good on ya Rick.
    Forty Licks, only disc in my car.
    Similar thing for us. 
    Kerri and I married in 1977 Fulham Registry Office, called in to the Red Lion pub with about five friends to celebrate, in walks Jimmy Page and Robert Plant and hearing about the wedding they sat with us for a couple of hours. Really nice guys, not pretentious etc, just chatted about life in general. 
    Goes to show, we’re all much the same.

    Fukin right !  The Stones or the Bones as rick calls them would have to be up there in my top  three best rock and roll bands ever.

    Just had a quick think about it and realized the Bones are number 1 best band ever.
    If anybody disagrees with that statement they can fuck off.
    If  anybody wants to suggest a better band I want to hear it.

    Eric Burden War
    Small Faces
    Pink Floyd
    Hendrix
    Steppenwolf
    Etc etc way to many to list.

    There's a shitload of bands who are technically better (some listed here) and I would say overall The Beatles would be more influential and revered.
     
    But who has been together for over fifty years, can still release cool songs, fill stadiums around the world and rock hard in their mid/late seventies, fucking no one, the Stones win hands down.
