New bikes will go up chitloads

Why?.....you do understand that were not imposing any tariffs on them so why would the bikes be more expensive. The only thing were exposed to is the stronger USA$ V Aus$

I REALLY wish a world leader would simple say about Trump "he's full of shit" - i mean thats what he thinks of the rest of the world.

I'm beginning to get the feeling that you really don't like Donald Trump.

A majority of our bikes come from Asia, including a lot of the Harley range.

But I can see the bikes that are still made in America going up in price, as a lot of the
    parts are imported .
I wonder what percentage of a Harley is actually manufactured in the USA ?

That's the key distinction isn't it, made not assembled, I'm trying to keep an open mind as in I'm no expert on trade or the intricacies and complexities of tariffs and their applications but it's not looking good from my lounge chair.

But the most shocking move was the Australian Dollar – down 4.6% to 60.3 US cents. The last time the Aussie fell this hard was during the Global Financial Crisis.
What’s more astonishing is that, outside of the COVID period, the Aussie has now fallen below its GFC low, reaching levels not seen since 2003. Not a good sign for us indeed. Tomorrow our market is going to open around 5% lower after the DJI dropped 2231 points.

    G'day,
according to one news report, there are no cars completely made in USA. Every one has some imported parts. I suppose that the bikes are similarly affected.

I saw a poll someone did in the states asking them if the world was flat, I don't know the demographic or size of said poll but just straight as it comes it found 10% of them believe the earth is flat, 9% were not sure, that's 19% of a 1st world country that did not pay attention at school, I'm not sure how many live there but using a figure of 350 million that I've seen bandied around that is 66.5 million people, they have nukes!
