Well the Chinese are again a step ahead .....they anticipated these tariffs and rather than sit and wait , like we have under the old mate and buddies act, they started dumping their cars all over the world. Australia even though a small market is going to get up to a further 7 new brands of Chinese cars. Will the tariff impact them, yes but as they have been proactive in emerging markets we are reactive to our beef tariffs.

Its pretty much a war now....(not physical but in an economic/social perspective) rest of the world vs. USA.  Fingers crossed they will be absolutely fucked when they realise just how unimportant they are and that the rest of the world has adjusted to their absence.  Its a new era of the 4th world country that used to be USA.

One question that perplexes me is:  Just how fucking bad were the Democrats that they made Trump a viable option?  Trump we know is a fuckwit, but the Democrats cannot be too far behind if they dropped the ball so much to make him and Vance and the entire ToolKit a Plan-A option.

your saying that the biggest economy in the world is unimportant to the rest of the world?

i dont think many "would not bothering to vote at all" here also if it wasnt for the draconian voting laws....so instead everyone must turn up & sketch their best interpretation of a big dick & mozie on off again to do something more important in their day....

Ive always believed that those that don't vote, or do a donkey vote, shouldn't whinge if the result isn't to their liking.

    Quoting evo94 on 02 Apr 2025 09:06 PM

haha thats the point - theyr not interested / not voting coz of the choices they see before them - they dont whinge, they just would like to do something more productive with their day than vote for Albo or Dutto ffs....

Takes about what… a half hour to cast a vote? Imagine if no one voted then we would have what….no Government or anarchy i guess. I suppose if they felt that strongly they could always nominate and run, but then again that takes time also

Not unimportant, but i think the rest of the world could 'adjust' to trading amongst themselves a bit more.  Its almost like the world is united in this affair and would rather deal with each other now than the orange muppet state.  Time will tell I suppose...

The EU is a pretty big market, they might play nice with us now, sorta depends on how retaliatory they all get with the US I suppose.

If only, no easy way forward, bit like a divorce, you can play nice and still get kicked in the teeth or just bite the bullet and ride the storm, nothing is forever.

so with what you say is true, 85% of the world that enjoys freedom of choice to vote, has no Govt. & anarchy reins?....mate you need to get out more, coz most are toodling along quite nicely & il bet many of us have been holidaying in one or two of those countries & had a fat time to boot....

Well seems we all didn't see what we saw, in his words
“I stepped back onto a step, I didn’t fall off the stage,” Mr Albanese told ABC Newcastle a short time later.
“Just one leg went down, and I was sweet.”  The PM stepped back into empty air behind him and took a tumble backwards, landing on his backside. He was immediately helped back up, unscathed and laughing.
Funny though its a union gig, where was the work place safety person who allowed the stage to be cleared as safe...lol

They want to send us shit and keep their good stuff and they are not happy we won't take it, it's a get fucked from me, it isn't just the orange turd either, although it's never been this bad before, his predecessors just spoke nicely with a smile while they stuck an unlubed pineapple up the world's arse.

Yeah that'll be next I suppose, I'll be telling them to fuck off as well, HD might struggle a bit through this, lot of bits and bobs made all over the place, first term he loved Harley, this time he was calling them traitors at one point, don't know if he has softened his tone towards them or not.
