There are plenty of non-elected people pushing their influence on our world and governments. Just look at the WEF (Gates, Schwab etc) for one example and Billionaires (Forrest, Rinehart, Holmes a Court etc) in this country for another.

Agree, but hopefully they aren't getting access to our personal details that are on Government computer systems. Musk on the other hand has been using his goon squad to gain access. Courts have put a stop to this for the time being but now he's calling for judges that don't allow him to do "his job" to be impeached and a lot of Trump's minions agree with him.

Its always intrigued me about peoples privacy...yet those same people have social media and share crap on the internet, they have a mobile phone that has location services , they are photographed daily via either a council or government or private cctv camera, they use a credit card, their phone pairs with the infotainment system on the car, the same phone that has all your contacts , photos, some cases credit card details and think nothing about it. All this data can go anywhere in the world yet they are worried that someone knows your name and needs suing for breaching their privacy.

Used to work with a clown who claimed that covid was a scam so they could inject a chip under the guise of getting a vaccine shot. I asked her why and her response was that the Government could track your movements. I gave up trying to tell her that if they wanted to do that they already could because 99.9% of people have a mobile phone, which they can track if need be. Also asked her what she had done in her life that made her so important that the Government would want to know her every move. Had fun telling her that the chip in her licence was what they used to track people and the boxes on the side of the road at intersections not only worked the traffic lights but also tracked her movements.

There is WAY too much self-medicating happening in the world...lol

Oddly enough Trump has a couple of good things on - the DEI dissolution is awesome (get you job on merit is the way).  And his chatting to Putan to get tips on setting up a Fascist state has the side benefit that the rest of the EU are getting off their arses and actually looking to work to end the war.  Plus I am keen to see what happened to JFK!

Thats it though....  I watched a good video on China vs. USA costs for simple ditch diggers etc.  as an example a china digger is say $3000, while the same USA built machine is $25,000.  They are delusional if they think a small tariff is going to make any difference to the cost of goods in the USA compared to overseas (unless I have the wrong end of the stick - highly possible)

Yep good to see those complacent Europeans getting off their collective arses, they need their own alliance anyway, fuckers should of already been all in helping Ukraine, they kidding themselves if they think it can't/won't happen to them.
Hope it doesn't go too pear shaped for the yanks but they will hurt if the rest of the world pushes back against these tariffs, if Canada's ex deputy Prime Minister wins the next election she says she will surgically target retaliatory tariffs to cause maximum harm to those that sent it their way, might be all talk, time as they say will tell.

The labour costs are why we cant manufacture anything in Australia either..just look at the cost of even a sparky, plumber etc for a day...no wonder people on the dole now want $40 per hr x 24hrs a day. LOL

Well we went thru the whole drive everything experience when my Mrs Kia Sportage diesel got written off....after a payout she picked a new Haval H6 ultra Hybrid with a extra 3yr free warranty making 10yrs total plus we pocketed 4k ...or we could add more than 4k and get a base model of what was just written off. I am never going to try tell you that Haval is a better car than a Kia/Hyundia etc but it has absolutely everything a top prestige car has for a fraction of the price. 180kw 530nm and 5.2l per 100klm for 37k...no wonder the Chinese cars are swamping the market.

The Chinese have certainly upped their game in the last few years. I was never fan of Chinese made products, but a lot of their stuff is now to the standard or even better than the competition. Hell, I've bought shit from other countries that ended up being total junk  and the Chinese version is much better in all areas. Still not a fan of the Chinese but if I'm looking to buy they do get a look in on certain products.

Necessary for self protection in these strange times.
And BOnes, those roadside boxes at intersections are so old tech, now they use induction loops buried in the bitumen to track people. You see them everywhere now, middle of back roads out in the sticks.
And if your former colleague can't work from the attached instruction sheet, tell her that there's lots of good training videos for this on YouTube.

AH Christ! Does that mean we have to see his stupid face on the TV pushing his stupid agenda again. I swear, anybody that votes for that clown is as brain dead as he is. If anybody tries to convince me to vote for him, I'm going postal.

When we were rebuilding the Obi hall old Clyde kicked in a couple of grand donation, it was his electorate at the time.. It was when he was talking about building a Titanic replica.
At the grand reopening, we invited him along as an honoured sponsor, told him we had hired a Titanic themed jumping castle for the kids. He didn't show, but the jumping castles was a lot of fun though.

    Senator Gerard Rennick

      ·
“Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke will churn through three days of citizenship ceremonies held on an industrial scale from Friday, giving thousands of new citizens the right to vote in crucial Western Sydney seats which could decide the outcome of the election.
The Daily Telegraph can reveal that Mr Burke’s department will hold three days of citizenship ceremonies in Sydney Olympic Park this weekend, conferring citizenship on as many as 6,000 new Australians in electorates Labor is desperate to hold.
The blitz is part of a deliberate bid from the Home Affairs department to give new Australians citizenship on the eve of the election.
It can be revealed that Mr Burke’s department will host 25 pre-election ceremonies, giving citizenship to 12,500 people before March 4.
Western Sydney mayors said that Mr Burke’s department took upcoming ceremonies out of their hands, to confer citizenships on a mass scale in Homebush.
Multiple people familiar with citizenship ceremonies said it was unprecedented for the department to step in and hold industrial-scale citizenship ceremonies, and for the Minister personally involved.
The ceremonies are usually organised by local councils.
Mayors have now accused Mr Burke of trying to stack the electoral roll by adding more voters in key seats.
“You would have to assume that the only reason why they’re doing this is to do a photo op and to try and give people as many citizenship as possible, trying to influence their vote,” Fairfield Mayor Frank Carbone told the Telegraph.
“Citizenship is about pledging allegiance to Australia and its people, not allegiance to a political party, or Minister, because they turn up a few weeks before an election, for a photo shoot,” he said.”
    ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
This is one of the most desperate examples of vote buying I’ve ever seen.
It confirms what we’ve always assumed which is that the Labor Party use immigration to boost their vote.
Which isn’t really all that surprising when you consider how bad the Labor Party is at governing. Anyone who has lived here longer than six months can quickly work that out.
It just goes to show Labor think holding power is more important than putting the people first

What Trump is doing with some of these is a simple deflection/distraction tactic....  The world focuses on Gaza/Ukraine and meanwhile he slips in more 'executive orders' that essentially are turning USA into a fascist state.

Like we said way back....  Their Country (well maybe not anymore..lol), Their Vote, Their problem.

    G'day,
all I can say is "I didn't vote for him".
I think that in a few years the situation will be similar to:
. in Germany after the war everyone was saying "I didn't know that was happening"
. In South Africa right now you cannot find anyone that was in favour of apartheid.
. In the USA you wont be able to find anyone who voted for the orange turd.
    Anyway, that's my opinion.
Syntax, grammar and tense out the window.
All in favour of Inner Circle Black Label say 'aye'.
    Have a safe weekend.
