Actually, the race I'd like to see is pillion racing. It's not that crazy an idea, sidecar racing continues on after all. Bagger racing with passengers!

Well Obisteve, I would like to see police motorcyclists race at Bathurst for 1000klm like the cars but in fancy formation like the following picture. You know cop teams from all countries. That would have to be entertaining, wouldn't it?

I've had a race with the coppers racing team, at Bathurst even. 4am launching down Conrod straight, cammed high comp, geared up 750 Commando in the lead over the two humps, Charger in 2nd place, maybe 1978.
If it had been a few years earlier, it might have been best of British race with a Cooper S.

When i was a kid we got caught one night punching on with the Lebos....highway copper arrested/saved me and handcuffed me. Took me back to the station in a Charger that had a D ring bolted to a plate on the floor...he kept accelerating then touching the brake making sure i banged either my nose or head on the dash. They took my shoes off me, left me in a cell for a few hrs then released me to walk back with my "white fella" soft feet a few klm up the road to my bike. When i got there my shoes were on the seat. Hey Charger!

Update.....Troy Herfoss will ride the factory Indian bagger this season. Keep an eye on this guy, three times Aussie superbike champ but can he adapt to something totally different.

Aussie beet the yanks for the title .
I enjoy the racing, but it seems to be very poor production of the actual race coverage .
Doesn't seem to be much of a crowd watching !

I would love to do a track day with one of the race bikes !
One good thing that's come out of the series is the CVO Road Glide ST .

I wonder where the Indian racer reserved for the Oz/NZ market went, and who fronted the US$82,000.

Yeah, that NZ one will be the one reserved for the Oz/Kiwi market. And I see inflation has been at work too.
I wouldn't mind having a quick ride either, although I'm nowhere near a good enough rider to make full use of it.
But bugga a few track laps, I'd rather tee up meeting PB for a coffee in Kenilworth then pointing it east and up the mountain.

I was considering the new CVO Roadglide ST, but gave up as there were only white ones available at that stage, I'm not sure if any more black ones are coming out or not, I've changed my mind and are doing some mods on the LRS instead, SE Ohlins shocks are next and are getting fitted next week, hopefully this will help with our poorly maintained bumpy roads here in NZ

Jesus we had better tee that up with the local plod Pierre as we may just exceed the posted limit of 100kph by a k or more ....

Kinda like truck racing but for bikes 😁
Maybe it will lead to something, a bit surprised HD can find the funds to put into this, no cheap exercise.

Umm it was my understanding that Harley Davidson was the naming rights sponsor of the bagger series that obviously include Indian. The article does certainly point in the direction of a single brand series. Bit lame if it is as just Hd as the current champ is Australian and contracted to Indian. Bit like a paid for advertisement.

Always shits me a bit to see that liquid cooled motor called an Indian, Info and pictures  were revealed to dealers showing it as the new 2018 Victory. But come January 2017 Victory was folded.
