    Hi guys, I bought a Dyna Super Glide recently while my Softail was off the road and now that I have the Softail back I'm looking to fix and/or improve upon modifications already performed to it.
    Bike has Ohlins 220 (I think they're 13.5") suspension on the rear, Wide Glide trees (model without extra rake) 2" longer fork tubes, progressive springs, emulators, dual brembo calipers and dual discs on a Street Glide alloy front wheel.
    Couple of things that need changing;
      - front wheel (rear is spoked wheel and I hate mismatched wheels)
      - Triple trees
      - Suspension adjustment
    Rear suspension is easy, bike was supposedly set up for 2 up riding but it had 42mm of suspension sag so I dialed that back down to 28mm
    Front suspension had 80mm of suspension sag and so much brake dive it was scary. It had Progressive springs in the bottom then instead of spacers on top, there was another spring from a Works Performance spring kit. Luckily I was given the rest of that spring/spacer kit with the bike so I removed the progressives and put the 3 springs and two spacers in each fork leg. Got my suspension sag down to a much better 30mm. Massive improvement!

    Next I want a spoked wheel AND mid glide trees (as came standard on this model). I found someone who wanted to do a WG conversion so we straight swapped trees & axle. Easy! Now I have an old 19" Street Bob spoked wheel with a dented rim. So I'm replacing bearings and looking for a chrome 19" hoop so it matches the rear. Still undecided on what brake rotors to go with, I'm liking the Galfers but it depends on availability.
    Other mods underway include changing the buckhorn bars for some MX style T bars (already got longer brake and clutch cable on there, just waiting on a longer throttle cable) Putting combination indicator/taillights on the rear off a newer model. Slim undermount indicators on the front.

    I'm looking forward to being able to lane split a bit easier, I had tall risers and really narrow flat bars on my old sporty and I could fit through the tiniest gaps. Also this bike is so tall and with taller bars I'll be above car mirrors.

    You’ll be happy with Galfers. I had them on my old Dyna and they were delivered in about a week from Revzilla.
