Regulator/battery drain

My battery is slowly being drained. I put multimeter on regulator wire to battery and earthed it. Have ohm resistance of 53.3 going through 30 amp circuit breaker. Have same resistance even with regulator unplugged from stator feed. How do I rectify this as both regulator and circuit breaker are new ????????

Not sure why you are going down that particular road, not sure what other checks you have done.
Do you know if your alternator is charging battery correctly?

The stator and reg feed the battery fine when the bike is running just trickle drains when stored. The only connection that is earthing it is the regulator set up even when disconnected to everything else it still shows an ohm reading rather than an unbridgeable seperation. Might try changing out the reg even tho it’s new

Plug in a battery tender, when not using , I've been doing that for a long time.
before that, I was riding a kick start only.
