to be fair i added a negative comment to one of the post saying i didnt like the new format .. however i was quite pissed off when i couldnt get the page up for a few days, so then i started thinking maybe we were a bit harsh in some of the comments .. firstly and foremostly if i was the one who created the forum i wouldnt like people telling me how to run it or if i wanted to make changes .. its his baby so he can do as he pleases i guess.

I'm still not a fan, all I would like is a rundown of what is going on and reason for the change. If the owner / admin / whoever runs this thing came out and said we need to change things up for this reason, we're going to lose this functionality but I'm open to suggestions on these other changes etc. I'm willing to accept change, I'm a very reasonable person but it just feels like we're losing more than we're gaining. The way things are going we're just being dictated to and not given any chance to have input. Feels like our government.

To rehash my thoughts on the new style, I said I didn't like it, but, I'm a squatter here and not paying rent. Which means the forum isn't mine, the money spent isn't mine so if the forum owner wants to change the format, it is his/her call. I appreciate coming here to glean information and to add to it if I can. I won't threaten to go to another forum if I don't get my way and I will be sorry to see the forum fold if it does.

Agree guys. Owning and running this forum is a thankless job and we’re an ungrateful lot. Made me realise I don’t want to lose it and the changes aren’t all that bad. Big thanks for keeping it going and putting up with is lot, KC 

Gentleman as humans, older ones at that, we hate change in our lives. My word to ponder for the day is " compromise" just for the record I don't like the new format, the censorship or the manner it's been done. I further recognise that it costs me nothing, I have no administration input and after have a laugh and a whinge I switch off. All the burden is shouldered by a person responsible for looking after both his interests as well as allowing us to express ours without having to give his house to a person who is either racially/sexully offended or just entitled. I dip my hat to the site owner after considering the above .....45 corona beers helped me arrive at this conclusion 🍺🍺🍺

You raise a valid set of points PB but as I see it a good forum is made up of a collection of individuals that as a whole have some sway on the feel of the place, this is no longer that place, when KC set it up it was pretty cool, we even had a bar at one stage where you could chat real time with multiple people, was great hanging shit on each other with half a gutful, anyway them days passed and he copped so much shit at times that there was the great purge, some of you would remember that far back, two other forums spawned from that event, I'm a member of one, so are a few others on here, but they do not really have the pull of this place, not a fan of the big stick myself so I'm struggling to find common ground to be honest.

i have only been here 4-5 years,not long compared to most.its a good site and an avenue to " socialise ' for me.i have learnt a lot about my bike and others from being here and met some great people in person,plus the characters on here. change for us as we get older is not easy at times,but i 'm easy and generally go with the flow,so hope the site continues.cheers

I too remember the old site, the characters were real no place for soft cocks & the bust up of some members. times have changed for sure & I get that we can no longer have Blatant Racism , Nudity , hate ,ect some one has to be the Enforcer, I myself am one that really says what I think, my Humor is unfiltered sexually explicit ,rude & sometimes offensive to some. The Big Stick don`t sit well with some , & I too was a casualty of a post being deleted & threatened with Banning if it happened again .it was sudden & I was unaware that the site had taken a turn , no matter I will move on .when I was working as a Postie Political correctness evolved within the  office, 20yrs ago the place was a fun place to work sarcastic bastards & practical jokes were the norm, as the easily  offended constantly complained we had to tone it down . As this place changes again ! we will have to tone it down, & hope it stays afloat . I have been gratefully  guided thru some unnerving custom & mechanical problems from some of you more knowledgeable folk I really hope it continues
