    A real shame to hear site might fold. Thanks for your efforts Steelo, being Admin/moderator can be a thankless job. People are naturally resistant to change, hopefully we all can regroup in another forum soon.
    Enjoyed my time & the comradeship.

    I have learnt so much on here after my first HD.
    Would be great if another Forum fired up will be there in a second..
    So sad on it folding up and been closed.........

    Friends. Thanks for the kind words. I have nothing to do with the running of the forum. Previously With the kind permission of the site owner who really is a terrific hard working bloke, I was doing some minor moderation to help members. I’m not modding anymore. 
    I get more out of the forum than I put in, hence my enthusiasm and interest in keeping it viable. 
    I hope you will join me in being positive as he progresses with the development of the site. Rest assured he is reading your comments, good and bad, and taking them on board.

    Thought when no connection and error kept coming up , that that was the end !!!!   Seems that is not the case at the moment ,,,,

    It's great the site's hanging in there, I hope it continues to do so, it looked dead for a couple of days with only feint signs of a pulse. Thanks for persevering and to steelo for his communication, that makes a big difference. Hopefully the members that might think its gone try to open it again and realise it's still kicking.

    I lurk at a bit Yellowbullet, a US drag racing site that has heavily moderated tech sections and an unmoderated trash or be trashed section which is basically a free for all, no illegal stuff but everything else is fair game, definitely not for the easily offended.

    A couple of years ago the site was upgraded and revamped and admin copped no end of abuse, similar to some of the comments thrown around here initially and worse. Lots of threats of leaving, accusations of incompetence, you've fucked everything, put it back etc, etc, basically resistance to change expressed in various forms, mostly aggressively.

    To the admins credit they copped it on the chin, worked to sort out some of the bugs and carried out some further upgrades to make some things similar to how it was and better. Even now I think there are still things that don't work like the members want/expect and negative comments get made, but from the outside I think the site is probably improved overall from the original set up and members have mostly accepted the differences, it just takes a bit of time.

    What's this talk of shutting down? been in lockdown for a couple of months now so for a first for me in a long
    time no riding at all so nothing really to talk about.

    Totally lost here fella's, could not get on for several days and now I read that the site might close. What happened?
    I appreciate all the hard work put in behind the scenes by people like Steelo, cheers bloke.

    I am with Humbug.  What the hell is going on?  Shit I joined 11 years ago and the site has changed a bit since then.  But why closing?  There will be no other site like it in Aus.

    Yes good on you Steelo your a good bastard with a great sense of humor, It will be a shame if this site finished as it is so informative and humorous even from a kiwi perspective
