Very brief article and in summary:
Harley-Davidson has halted production of its first electric motorbike after finding a glitch in its charging system.
It says existing bikes are safe but must be charged at dealerships, which will take an hour, rather than using the lower-voltage outlets in homes.
Harley-Davidson told Reuters it had discovered a "non-standard condition".
Once fully charged, the bike can travel 146 miles at low-speed.

These are $50k here in oz. What a joke...

Only Harley would create a machine that needs to be charged at the dealer.  I would be suing their arses off if I was stupid enough to buy one of these boat anchors.

Gee you blokes. You’ll be eating your own before this pandemic is over.
Let’s play. Dredge through the internet, find  anything derogatory to the brand and post it on an enthusiasts site.

All the folks I know who have ridden the live wire say it’s fckn awesome, just too expensive.. that’ll change as production costs drop and range will increase as technology improves.
There are articles from the early 1900s about Harley putting motors in bicycles and it will never take off, never replace the horse.

Good on Harley for having the balls to be the first major manufacturer to build one and it looks decent compared to most of these electric bikes, look at the brand Savic, looks like a brick with wheels.
