Hi
Fitting a new set of Factory47 bars on my SGS "18".
Having it all apart I thought to also up grading the Riser Bushings..
But little confused purchased HD kit..when I compare them with the stock ones.
Doesn't look right new kit bolt isnt long enough.
Am I supposed to cut down the actual bushing to make it fit?
You would thing it should bolt straight on.
Any help and input would be much appreciated......
Cheers

Hog1, are all 4 halves of the bushing the same length? It's possible you were given the wrong bolts in the kit mate, had a look around but couldn't confirm what length the new bolts should be. I left my originals when I swapped out the bars on my 17 SGS to 12" WildI's.
I wouldn't cut the bushes, reuse your originals if keen to get the bike back on the road and see your dealer about the incorrect bolt length.
Good luck

Hey DocGreen
Yes champ all 4 are identical in size.
No issue for bike to be back on the road..I would rather get it all 100% with the risers.
These are 12" aswell Assult i think there called..
Have another set on order should get them during the week to see if it was an error with packaging the parts..

In the meantime google that kit part number as the description should have the bolt lengths and/or harley part number in there.
