    Guys

The Rona lockdown is almost over.
As soon as we can I'm getting away from the house and from work!
Whilst  I have the options of tents etc I think its time to share some $ and stay at accommodation.
So I'm after some recommendations for bike friendly accommodation.  Don't need lock up but would prefer under cover.
North, south, east or west doesn't matter because I reckon over the next 6 months I'll be doing plenty of 2-3 day rides.

    Recommendations?

Thanks guys looks like a start.
I'm also thinking there once was a pub at Orbost or Omeo that was pretty reasonable.

Here's to getting out there and some kays under the belt.

Jeez Bruce, you and the missus must have really caused a ruckus the previous time you stayed ;-)

thanks for the " young at heart "compliment there WG,but between us we'd be lucky to upset the cat.first stay there for us as well. the pub room was basic, but they have new looking cabins across the side street that looked ok from the outside.

years ago one of the omeo pubs didnt like bikes to much, but i think that has changed. we stayed at the one  on the hill [ on a street corner ] they let us camp down the back for no charge with use of the shower and toilet as well[ although she said they weren't supposed to let campers there]. the food was good and the beer cold. and magic roads to get there from any direction.

We stayed at Lascelles back in March.
As soon as we were checking in it was pretty evident that the woman was bloody rude to be honest.
    Wont be going back there.

Pubs change hands, Lascelles has had good feedback in the past. But now Mrs Cunty Mc Cuntface may work there.
It's the luck of the draw really. Depends on lots of things. One of those things is the attitude of your traveling companions.
Never really stayed in a Hotel and thought afterwards, "I must live here".
Is this the one in Omeo you were mentioning Bruce from Warnambool?

Did not stay at that one, got too pissed at Beechworth the night before and not sure how I even managed to park the bike out the front after the million corner ride from mitta mitta.
Other happy pub stays included these ones.
Good times but at the end of the trip it is nice to be home.

Are you allowed to get out of Vic yet Bloff?
If not, I like the right hand side of Vic best (looking at a map from above).
Jump on bike and go, work out the finer details later.

Right-Hand-Side. Hmm, wonder if that could mean - west? (that's looking from above - as opposed to looking from below)!
