    Hi
    Just checking any crossbone owners here, still happy with it after nearly a decade? 

    I bought a 2008 crossbone recently. Not much knowledge about the springer front end. The two big springs at the front, one looks straight but the other one look twisted. is this normal? 

    Do all springer front end have shorter life time?

    I have had a 2008 CVO Springer 110 cube , FXSTSSE2 , since 2011.

    I have had to rebuild the front end ( Indian driver can't drive for shit usual sad fucking story)

    A bit of a learning process that job. VERY similar to the Crossbones front end , slightly different rake and a bit more chrome.

    Over 80% of the part numbers are the same, check the Ronnies HD partfinder online microfiche.

    There is a maintenance wee job or 2 to do on them , lubricating brass bushes etc etc. I put chain lube on them all on assembly

    If it don't come off a hayaBastard megacycle at 240Km/H it will be fine on my Springer bushes was my reckoning

    Your "bendy springs" may be an optical illusion I suspect, they do "look" like that a wee bit.
