Yeh that would be interesting!! they need enough compression to fire diesel , modern ones use glow plugs to fire them cold, but the real old one's you had to use Ether, but the one's I saw had starter motors & in truck not a bike. 

Guy told me he had tried kicking it and it was a pain, unfortunately they belong to his partner who had the keys so he couldn't start them or I would have taken a video.

I read somewhere where those Diesels are incredibly Gutless, and they vibe quite a lot, but otherwise cool bike,
