Having just acquired the big arsed witch, I wanted to give her some TLC
checking with a mate who gave the thumbs up on these cheapish bike lifts, I checked that the rests were wide enough for the frame on the 18 Fatgirl and delved into my pocket for the folding and bought the one from Supercheap.....
I really wanted to get her skirts in the air if I was gunna keep those polished Lakester rims looking good.
Needless to say, imagine my consternation, the language, and the blue air (Grrr) when I found that the damn lift wont go under her hem (wink)
misses out by a smidgeon Dammit!.... even if holding her completely upright.
Anyways, short story long......
I slid a caravan leveller ramp under the front hoop, rolled her forward and up one step,
put a 40mm plinth (read. block of wood) under the sidestand to make her sit more upright and the lift went under easy-peasy.....
simple to take the weight without too much 'heart in the mouth' rocking about......... and the same when returning her to earth. :)
So.......... If you get the new generation Fatboy, maybe keep it in mind
(hope this is of help to someone)

i have 3 peices of 19 mm ply with a champhered edge on one side,1 for each wheel and one for the side stand [ no need for a leading edge on that one....lol]roll the bike up and on it goes.my lift was from repco, was cheap, redid a couple of ordinary welds and it works well under the lowrider.
