Noticed a Ducati multistrada with only 8328klms on it sell to a lone bidder on ebay for $5,800 today.
    That seems cheap!
Sure it is a weird looking bike but blokes who have them usually like them. They go like the clappers and handle well.
Here is the link, not sure if it will still work https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/114364068000?ul_noapp=true

Man that is a fing ugly bike!  Nearly bought a new Paso once but 10 mins into the test ride I realised it was build for midgets!  Next bike i tried was an FXR which I bought!   Talk about a step up from a Suzuki GN250 though.

Not sure what this topics about but Mates in the industry reckon sales are well up. New/used are selling well, especially dirt/adventures
    Pauly probably has the figures!

Was talking more about the second hand market Ratbob. Saw a very low mileage Honda 750 four go for $5100 on ebay about a week ago too. Be interesting to see what happens when this jobkeeper extravaganza ends.

Why thanks for the intro....HD has led the combined road bike segment with more than 176 extra sales than second placed Yamaha with Honda running third. HD has 6 models in the top 10 cruiser market, Street 500 being the winner up 47% , other notables are Low rider s and FXBB.
The upshot is that due to the COVID factory closures with all brands of bikes new models are not all that freely available and thats caused the huge uptake of used bikes that Ratbob was making reference to. Dealers are running short of used stock and if your dealer hasnt sent you a email asking if you want to sell your bike your about to get one.
The sales have been that strong that the largest, and only, ASX listed bike shop group in Australia, Team moto are being seriously looked at by stock brokers as a "buy" recommendation to their clients.
Lastly HD are pushing strongly to get their Pan America to market due to strong interest in that segment at the expense of dropping their naked sports bike and new generation sportster

I have been thinking of selling my Beemer, a R100RS.  I looked up the ones that were similar on bike sales for a guide to pricing and was surprised by the asking prices being so high for non original chopped up home made "cafe racers".

Coming from the industry its nice to see a resurgence after a slow decline for so long. Team Moto, trading as motorcycle holdings , reported a 15.3mill profit after tax and that's on top of paying a further 24.3mill for the Cassons accessory brand. Interesting that they nearly turned over 1 million dollars a day as a group every day, 364million FY
