    Hi.
What are the do’s and don’ts for sending parts to the USA with auspost? I don’t want to incur any extra fees for myself or the recipient.
    Thankyou

I've sent fuel tanks, primary covers, full exhaust systems. Never had any issues. Never done anything special, just fill out the customs clearance documents.

I know its in the reverse direction but i recently had some shocks and suspension parts shipped from California with DHL.
They left California Tuesday and were at my joint in Canberra by Friday. Ive never seen such fast shipping.

I have used Pack & send for postage to the US.
They have a self service system where you pack your own, and download and print the labels, and book the drop off.

Auspost to the US at the moment is up to 3 months, they no longer have an economy service so you either have to go express (still up to 3 months) or surface 3-6 months.
I’ve had to limit my online store because it’s become such a Nightmare
