    Hi all,
Long story short I'm agonising over T Bars or Apes for my 2011 FXDF. I'm really liking the look of pull back T Bars which suits the muscle bike kind of attitude the FXDF has. Thinking of Burleigh 10 x 1.5" but I can't find pics of them fitted. The specs on the Burleigh website suggest a 13" pullback while other brands have around 8" - but some brands measure differently to others.

Is anyone running 10" pullback Burleigh T's? I'm 6'3" and worried they might come too far back for me. I'm currently running a Street bob solo seat but put the factory one on when the missus wants to jump on.

Had pullback T  bars on my nightrain although not Burleigh brand. Being 6.3 also, I found they were comfortable but they did come back to far for my liking so switched to 16 apes and couldn't be happier. Also never been harassed by the police with them on. Thinking that being 6.3 they don't sort of draw to much attention because your arms aren't reaching for the sky

Thanks for that. I've done some more digging into Burleigjs measurements. Given how Burleigh measure their bars I think I'll be good with T's. They measure from vertical at the riser base when it's on a bike with a 32" rake. Others measure theirs with the bars not installed and sitting vertical. That rake at full height adds about 5" to what other companies advertise so they're the equivalent of about an 8 degree pullback from vertical. That puts my hands just behind where the drag bars sit but about 4" higher whish feels perfect. I have 2" extended forward controls and it just gets me away from that slight lean I get from the drag bars which gives me lumbar pain, but keeps the muscle bike appearance that I don't want to lose.
I'll confirm this with Burleigh on Monday and go from there.

Thanks for those pics. I like the bandit bars and was nearly going to order their apes but I like the idea of T Bars and getting stainless from Burleigh fits the budget still.

My dyna wide glide uses the same 5" riser as Dyna Fat Bob. Fat Bob uses a drag bar with a V shape pull back. Wide glide uses a beach bar has 3" further rise. So I tool off the beach bar, bought a 3" riser extension on the 5" riser to make it 8", then bought a fat bob drag bar. overall made it technically an 8" T bar.
For fab bob (also wide glide), i don't think T-bar is very suitable though. If I had a fab bob I wouldn't go over 8" on T shape bars. If on street bob, I would make it 9" or 10" maximum. Jax Teller's bar is 9". Its not about your height, its about the look of the bike. You don't see lots of t-bar fat bob for a reason.

    or...z-bar

if I had a fat bob, the first mod I would spend money on is the rear fender.

of course its your bike. For 6 ft high I don't think you need any pull back tho.

That Super glide sport on sons of Anarchy has 13" custom T's. I've gone off the idea of T's and leaning towards the Burleigh Highball bars at 14 or 16"
