Started up the old shitter today and took for a test run.
Nothing exploded or seized, things could be worse.

Love the look of the tank FC. It holds fuel doesn't it?

Well my Deluxe Project I started during the Covid lockdowns while recovering from cancer surgery is pretty much done (for the moment). The engine is the only part I didn’t touch

Tank chop by Brad @ Handmade Metal Craft
    Pinstriping by July Neville

All other work done by me in my garage.

Yes it holds fuel alright O Steve.
This thread is about a year old and as it happens I am waiting for my brand new Sunrise Orange Flake tank and sidecovers coming from Japan that are accumulating massive extra import duty's  than were expected.

Finally got round to fitting the new tank and sidecovers today.
So from the beat up bare metal tank to the Flake Sunrise Orange one with lashings of flake.

The  flake sunrise orange looks pretty good, a good choice.
How many of them have you got ? I recall pics a while back of the curry coloured one too, that the Indians liked.
