    I never looked into the differences between them, but interestingly enough, I was watching a drug documentary where they mentioned USPS was the postal carriage service of choice for importing into the US purely due to the volume they handle and better odds. 

    I always kinda just assumed they where two versions of the same thing.
    For bragging rights, my record for shipping was ordering from America  Early Wednesday Mornig (5amish), package arriving at 5pm on Friday when I was arriving. 3 sets of tyres from RMATV haha (Edit: This was DHL express, rather then UPS or USPS)

    I also have always had good luck with USPS, till the last time took a long time to go through customs as value was higher.
    then I was told if your importing , it can be a lot quicker with private shipping company's as they do there own customs.
    if the value is below the limit set USPS ok.
    but since COVID-19 there has been some restrictions, that's what I was told?

    Few weeks ago I ordered a small item and picked Fedex to deliver. Ordered Monday and the first attempt to deliver was Thursday with delivery happening on Friday.
