depends on how much riding you do, handy to have that extra fuel if u do some distance. .. on a personal level i dont feel the need for to much speed so i would go the bigger tank .. u can always sell the tank later on and redeem some cash .. stage 4 not so much

This is like me asking you if I should buy a green or a blue jumper, it has fuck all to do with anyone else. Everyone can give you an opinion but if you honestly can't decide for yourself go flip a coin...

You can never have enough power, go for the S&S 128/124 or the se 131 kit don't piss around with the 117 kit and plan your trips carry a jerry can for longer trips just my opinion

Fuel tank or Stage 4.... Why the fark are you even asking - Its stage 4 every time unless your an interstate rider (and then you need to be on one of those rolling fridge/goldenwing things).
Its like..... 'ohhhhh now I can ride slowly for a LOT longer'...lol

Unsure whether you are trying to insult me or you actually just can't read. Or is it just like this post, you can't decide on anything for yourself so you have to crowdsource answers for everything in your life?

If you go to stage 4 you're probably going to need a bigger tank so unfortunately the answer is both, or enjoy shorter rides/more stops.

I hate stopping to fill up, which is one of the reasons I didn't buy a Breakout in the first place.
Since you're stuck with one I'd go the bigger tank.

Glad we don’t all feel that way or we wouldn’t have a forum.
All questions are valid, look where this one’s taken us, bit of info, a few insults, a few laughs, all questions are valid.

Take any advice you get from these heathens with a grain of salt mate.  How big is the breakout fuel tank anyway?
What sort of riding do you do on the breakout?
Oh , and dont be a poofter!  Spend the money on the motor.

Agree... 98 is for pussys.  I run 105 in my stock Sporty and she flys!

I had no idea the tank was so small on the breakout. Pretty impractical for a big bike if you wanna go on decent rides with other people.

Hated stopping for fuel, broke the song.
May even put secret lines to pannier, for fuel. Each to their own choice.

I’ve done Adelaide to Bordertown (about 300) non stop easily a couple times. You get into the groove.
